Significant Milestone: MicroAlign’s microactuator can now handle 16 fibers at 250μm pitch.
As of July 2024, MicroAlign has achieved a 2X downscaling of our alignment technology! Our microactuator now handles up to 16 fibers at a 250 μm pitch.

With MicroAlign’s technology, each fiber’s position can be precisely controlled in 2D over several micrometers and with nanometer resolution. This is a great example of how miniaturization allows for scalability.

This actuator is the main actor in our development of high-accuracy pitch fiber arrays.
