Fontys students intern at MicroAlign to optimize future production capacity

Over the past few months, we’ve had the privilege of welcoming six talented Industrial Engineering students from Fontys University of Applied Sciences as interns at MicroAlign.

Their goal was to explore how to increase MicroAlign’s production capacity in the coming years.

With fresh perspectives and innovative solutions, they tackled this challenge and delivered impressive results:

⏺️ Strategic recommendations on which production steps to automate, parallelize, and optimize to meet future demand.
⏺️ Multiple concepts for the new  manufacturing line, including detailed floor plans for different levels of automation.
⏺️ A structured roadmap  to effectively reach the ideal concept for the manufacturing line in the coming years.

We are happy with the dedication and hard work our interns have shown. Their contributions have made a significant impact on our journey toward increased manufacturing capabilities, and we look forward to seeing all the great things they’ll achieve in the future!

A huge thank you to amazing interns!
